This may be due to limitations with your Windows operating system. Windows limits the maximum character length in a file to 250 and so sometimes this causes errors when using Winzip to extract a zip file.
Here is a link to downlaod 7Zip, it is free and this is a great extraction app which should be able to extract your download for you without issue as it automatically shortens the character length whilst extracting the file:
Most large downloadable files are made smaller by using Winrar. So unless your download is in PDF format you will need this application to extract your download prior to installing it.

OnceΒ the download startsΒ select βSave Fileβ
A – Click βSave Fileβ to save WinRAR to your computer.
Open the folder that contains the βWinRAR-release version.exeβ file and click on the file to run the install process. β¨ After you click the WinRAR install file, it will begin the install process by bringing up the install window. Make sure to review the terms of the license before you click βInstallβ
A β Read the terms and conditions for Win Rar and then click βInstallβ
After you click Install, WinRAR will bring up a Setup window that allows you to choose what files templates you would like to associate with WinRAR. After you select your options, click βOKβ
A β Select the file types you would like to associate with WinRAR
B β If you would like to have a shortcut for WinRAR added to the desktop and the start menu, check the boxes.
C β Click Okay once you have chosen the setup options for the WinRAR install.
It will quickly install the compression/UnRAR program and bring up a new window asking you for your next action. Either you βRun WinRARβ or click βDoneβ to run it at a later time.
A β Click βDoneβ and now you are ready to use WinRAR.
